I’m sure that we are all aware of the frightening effects of climate change caused by increased greenhouse gases in our atmosphere which humans are responsible for. Essentially the planet is warming up and scientists have been calling this out for years; this decade is now being cited as the make-or-break opportunity to limit global warming to 1.5℃.
As such, we all need to look at our carbon footprint and find ways to reduce our impact. As a business we have taken the ambitious and significant move to become Carbon Neutral. This week we received confirmation that we have attained the British Standard PAS 2060 Carbon Neutral certification, which is an outstanding achievement for us, and a first for our industry sector!
This is the first major step in our journey to reduce the total carbon footprint for our business activities and underpins our commitment to sustainability. We are developing some exciting plans to align with our upcoming relocation which include further carbon reduction goals along with driving additional environmental improvements and initiatives across our business.
